This game is a slap in the face to everyone who defamed TI-BASIC over the years. It is fast, it has great graphics, and comes with a strong replay value.

Alpine has a great engine wrapped in beautiful graphics that truly enhance the flawless gameplay. The key responsiveness is very good, and that's one of the most important things about these types of games. The options are great too, and they serve well in the eventuality that you are looking for a greater challenge.

The level editor is very straight-forward and seems efficient. The ability to create external levels is yet another great feature of Alpine Skiing.

I must admit that I was surprised when I opened the “Alpine” folder and found no ASM libraries - this TI-BASIC masterpiece runs fast on its own - AND with awesome graphics! This game stayed and will definitely keep on staying in my 89T's archive.
