New US Postage Rates effective 5/15/2007 The program computes US postage rates, up to 13 ozs - within US, Canada and by air to most other countries. The new postal rates are extremely complicated as compared to the previous years. For example, a letter of 3.5 ozs or less can be charged at 4 different rates depending on the size, shape and thickness of the envelope. Letters over 3.5 ozs can be charged at 2 different rates.
