“PuzzPack” was the first game I played on the 83, and I still like it. The four games are great, “Puzzle Frenzy” being my favorite. “Puzzle Frenzy” takes a lot of thought in the “Puzzle” mode, but it provides some action in the “Endless” mode, which mixes strategy and timing, like “Tetris.” “Block Dude” is great, adding even more strategy. One wrong move can leave you stuck, but that's what makes it fun. However, the later levels can feel repetitive. “Pegs” is tricky, requiring a lot of thought to arrive at the solution. “Dino Puzzle” uses the least strategy of all the games. It's similar to “Tetris:” pieces fall and you need to match them. One feature that made this pack stand out was the teacher key: [DEL]. When you hit it, it closes the program instantly, leaving no signs that you have been playing games. All these features add up to a great game that can be played for hours. |
